Sorties d’album du 28 octobre | The Flaming Lips, Julien Sagot, Lagwagon et plus

Qu’est-ce que la semaine de l’Halloween nous réserve côté nouvelle musique? À première vue, ça semble plutôt varié.

On retrouve d’abord la folie de The Flaming Lips, avec l’album With a Little Help from my Fwends, où ils reprennent intégralement l’album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band des Beatles. Un album truffé de collaborations allant de Miley Cyrus en passant par Phantogram ou Tegan and Sara. Pour le moins éclaté.

Les amateurs de ska et de punk seront ravis de découvrir les nouveaux Rancid, avec Honor Is All We Know et Lagwagon avec Hang. Ces derniers seront d’ailleurs de passage à Montréal et Québec le mois prochain.

Côté hip-hop, on retrouve le duo Run the Jewels avec leur deuxième album, Run the Jewels 2, qu’ils viendront nous présenter le 27 novembre prochain au Club Soda.

Quant au duo britannique The Ting Tings, on les retrouve pour un troisième album, intitulé Super Critical.

Côté local, on retrouve Julien Sagot, ex-Karkwa, avec son deuxième album, Valse 333 (consultez notre critique par ici) et on assiste au retour de Stefie Shock avec un premier album depuis 2011. Ça s’intitule Avant l’aube.
